The (extra) long weekend has given me time to get to lots of things on my To Do list. Including finally having a play with the ink jet water slide decal paper I bought off eBay months ago.
The results of my first test run inspired the scene above. These are images nicked off the internet (of course, what else would you expect from me?) and mounted onto a package of paper plates I discovered in the bottom of my work box.
And the shadow boxes? Drawers from a recent Re-Ment purchase, repurposed.

I love the colours and the patterns on the plates in this scene and great use of the re-ment boxes!
ADORE the color scheme! And do I recognize that paper??! By the way, which Re-ment set are those boxes from? Did you paint them?
The paper is from a scrapbooking stack I picked up last month (you first saw it here: http://theshoppingsherpa.blogspot.com/2011/03/sunday-scene.html)
Thought you'd like the colour scheme: the paper plates are part of the second part of our swap.
The drawers were from the cabinet in Rement beauty storage set 8, colour as they arrived. But they'll probably get painted soon...
I love the paper you used for the wallpaper, & the blue & green with all the white furniture & pale soft furnishings looks so fresh! I totally wouldn't have realised those were the drawers from that Re-Ment set! Great use of them.
I'm late to comment... but I'm just catching up on my feeds now and I'm trying to go through it in order.. I got your red swap by the way! did I already tell you that? I need to post some pictures up!!! But yeah! Love this scene.. love the colors. Everything is so.. spring!
Hmm... I kinda want to do something similar...
