March madness

Yesterday, after closing off February, I did the first round of planning for March and and realised that it's going to be a busy month.

I have one 'unconference', with related house guest, one holiday (yay!), one miniature show* and the start of the lead up to the next issue of The tinyTimes. With the added option of a submission for an exhibition.

Plus the usual blogging, studying, reading, socialising and cleaning.

 And work, of course...

Already the house is starting to look like a craft factory (and I suspect it will remain so for the next three weeks, at least.)

The dining table seems to have become the fluffy-yarn facility:
Dining table covered in balls of fluffy yarn and completed dolls house flokati rugs
The coffee table, knitting and end-sewing central (with entertainment options for the duration):
Piles of books, DVDs and rainbow-coloured stacks of knitted rectangles with trailing yarn ends
Upstairs, the desk is the destination for completed pouffes,
Rows of colourful modern miniature knitted pouffes in a square black plastic basket
and the worktable is where I'm trying to decide if I want to put together some completed notice boards and mirrors, or maybe create some kits for people to make their own if they're keen...
Stacks of various coloured rubber miniature baroque-style frames on a cutting mat
I'm thinking it might be a little quiet round here this month.

  3. Your room seems to me a bit like a factory for knitting ;)!
    You make beautiful miniatures.
Sorry, I am new here. I saw the link to your blog on Kikka's blog and I wanted to sign up here, but I don't know how to do this....do you have a followers tool?
So first I just try to leave my comment.
    Kind regards, Ilona
