I am so intrigued. Don't have speakers on my computer, but I guess they wouldn't have helped, Love the b&w tape!!! And couldn't read the screen properly. Are you saying you got an ebay bargain, to replace a deady-bones camera?
Ah that's better. Speakers not needed as the video was silent since it's One Word Week.
Old Ixus not dead just heading that way. "New" Ixus (still 6 years old) from eBay: $38 plus postage making it $50 in total. With video capability. Yipee!!!
Oh - forgot to mention the number 1 criteria when buying replacement camera was it had to use the CF cards and batteries I already had. Which kinda limited me to the first few generations of the Ixus as they changed to SD cards around version 4...
