I recently bought a copy of this book, full of enthusiasm to make a return to miniature rugmaking: Got it home and realised I already owned a copy of it (does that happen to you too?)
Rather than carting it off to the local second hand book shop I thought I'd see if any of my readers wanted it.
HI!
ReplyDeleteit happens with me too LOL!!!!!
I love to do mini rugs and the book seems to have very unusual patterns.

yes please! i've only started making mini rugs a few months ago and i'm absolutely addicted so your book would be very handy :-)
ReplyDeleteOK don't choose me because you know it will just join my bookshelf full of these wonderful books.... but I can't help myself, and want to put myself in the running...
ReplyDeleteI have gotten a book out from the library and after a few rather familiar pages I checked my bookshelf to discover that I did indeed have it already.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I've done that too! Both from libraries and buying (usually secondhand, thank goodness).
ReplyDeleteIt's a terrific cover, but I have quite enough books of needlepoint on my shelves already, untouched for about 10 years, not to mention the projects started and sitting in the cupboard ... So I will just come back to enjoy these beautiful bright colours here, thankyou :-)
This one was, luckily, a $3 Salvos buy. The original copy was a $15 secondhand bookshop find...
ReplyDelete;D i bought a thriller at the fleamarket and after a
ReplyDeletelook into my bookshelf...

Makes me want to take up needlepoint. I'm reading, "The Book Thief," because of you.
