Well I'm pleased to say my framing ability hasn't deserted me (I can't remember the last time I did any mini framing using frames I cut myself...), so I spent the afternoon having fun framing various pieces for the seaside shack lounge gallery wall.
Which was followed by a dry run arranging them on the wall, using my usual flat-lay technique. The fabulous thing about it for this build is when I'm happy with the arrangement I can just blu-tack the pieces down then gently lift the whole thing into place.
(Here's the usual gratuitous close-up of the art).
Looks like I might finish this build tomorrow!
Really great combination of sizes and styles! So much easier framing in this scale ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kristine and I'd disagree (then again, for me framing in full-size involves going to a shop, buying a frame, bringing it home and whacking something in it...!)
