Sweltering

Summer's definitely here. Today's forecast is for a top of 39 degrees (102.2 for my American readers) and it's already 29 (84.2).
So I made myself a cool, breezy garden corner to hang out in.
(Pity I don't have one of these in real life.
When the heat gets too much I head across the road to the beer fridge in the liquor store to cool down...)

Wow, I thought Virginia was bad in the Summer, but 102 tops Virginia's heat. The patio is charming and elegant!
Best, Neen

Great patio! I would love to hang out there. It's -2 celsius here today!

Cool (well actually hot) scene. Is the fencing a place mat? Very clever and effective. Love the floor surface. Enjoy the sun *so jealous*

Nice sunny scene!
Would like to be there -
here we have not seen the sun for weeks,
it`s always grey & rainy
and not really winter...

Pepper: yep, a placemat cut down to size with scissors and installed in front of a picture of a garden from a magazine. :-)

I love the fence and your plant collection. This warms me up, we were just in the snow and have had a cold spell on this side of the world. Beautiful gazebo.

The gazebo is from the American Girl AG Minis Rooftop patio set: http://www.agplaythings.com/minis/agminis.html#Patio

I was fortunate to be able to pick up almost all the AG Minis pieces I was after in their half price runout sale :-(
