Going round in circles

I seem to have become a little obsessed with grey circles since last week. This is a project I've been wanting to try for months, and have been stockpiling old doilies from op shops until I had time to play. If you look closely there are some casualties. But that's what happens when you experiment.

(
This is the perfect song to go with this post, by the way.)

What a great idea--little works of art, each one! The scale means you pay more attention to the detail.

Wow. Stunningly beautiful. I had a similar (fleeting) obsession, covering rocks with crocheted 'cardigans'. I understand the just.can't.stop-ness!

Those badges look good.Did you design them yourself?

Yes, if by "design" you mean randomly grabbing bits from the stash I had collected, finding spots on the doileys and hankies that a circle would work in and backing fabric that wouldn't jam the machine...
