Today is Walk to Work Day. To mark the occasion I thought I'd share with you my journey to work this morning...
Note the serious business-like demeanour in picture one as I leave the bedroom. The eagerness to get to work in picture two as I swing through the hall. And the fact that, even with a 3 second commute, I arrived in the office late!

Don't tell anyone I said so but the picture of you looking at the clock looks exactly like your mother.
oooh ...I am jealous again.. I am jealous of all who work at home..
yesterday I spend 1 hour 15 min.. to be able to get back home.. and it kills me this time..stolen from crafts.. kids.. pleasures..
enjoy your day.. your work.. and what's for lunch at the staff cafeteria today?? =))
i'm cracking up laughing here! do you really get all spiffed up in a blazer and skirt to work from home? or is it just for the camera?
new hair-do???
I always dress for work but yesterday i needed something corporate that would also be comfortable for a 3.25 bus trip to Sydney followed directly by a Friday night at the night noodle markets in Hyde Park (which we ended up not going to)
And here I was feeling casual as the jacket and skirt didn't match and I had no pantihose on (Friday, you know)
As for the hair it changes on a 6 weekly basis depending on how Boyd is feeling and on a daily basis depending on how it decides to dry. Sometimes I miss the old Sinead O'Connor look I used to have - never had to think about it then.
And Pinar - I bought a Thai lunchbox for $7.50 which contained a curry puff, a spring roll and rice with stirfried veges, cashew nuts and tofu. Yummo.
(Grandmother - I'm ignoring your comment! ;-))
and yet it is my birthday and no meniton of this - just walking to work! oh woy is me... (been working at woy woy for to long!) no longer know how to spill.... Princess B of Libraria
Oh - if you happen to be my Boss all the above photos were staged and I wasn't late for work at all that day :-)
