Tonight J, M, S and I decided to do a final pre-Christmas catch up (and early birthday celebration for S whose birthday is the 23rd) at the carillion carols on Aspen Island.
Daylight savings meant it wasn't dark enough for carols by candlelight and unexpectedly blustery cold weather meant it wasn't quite as idyllic as we had planned (although it also meant there weren't any flies or mozzies as they'd all blown away).
But a good time was had by all,
the important bits of Christmas were (ahem) present and, after a trip to Tilleys for a most unseasonal hot chocolate to thaw out we all went home happy and contented chappies and chappesses.(Listening to: Zero 7: Simple things)
