Getting a Friday night drink in Petone, New Zealand

Nick and Tracy collecting their weekly supply of Petone artesian water. This is the only well in the whole village. Luckily it's not too far from their house...

I'll ask. Is it for drinking and is that one container enough for a week?

I told Dave about this a few weeks ago, he used to live in Petone. He had NO idea where it was and hadn't even heard of it. Perhaps now I'll be able to go check it out. Thanks for the link.

Omigod I used to live in Petone [Ava Street] 40 years ago when I was 10! I've been back in Fife, Scotland for 35 years. It's a small world [but I wouldn't want to paint it].

Yes it's lovely yummy drinking water and would last two people around a week...

Jane - if you want to tell me what number Ava Stret I can go take a photo and post it for you... I'm staying about 6 doors around the corner from the house I lived in from 14-16 (Nelson Street) and 2 blocks from my first flat in Sydney Street...
