You shall have a fishy, on a littly dishy....

Saturday morning saw us up bright and early and heading round to Eastbourne to buy dinner.

Here's how it works:

Check the board for what's available then line up til it's your turn.Chose your fish (freshly caught)then wait while it's filleted for you:(It would seem Tracy chose Flying Fish for dinner)
It was all pretty exciting for someone who lives in a land-locked city!

What a lovely way to get the ingredients for dinner.

The thrifty part of me wants to know what happens to the bits that fly - I'd want them for stock.

And did you enjoy the dinner? I love the setting - perfect market!

Taph: They sell them off for stock!

Quilting Mick: Dinner was fab - blackened fish with potato gratin and steamed zucchini, beans and green pepper. Accompanied by lashings of NZ Sav Blanc.... Mmmmmm....

I've been singing that 'fishy' song since Good Friday! And I'm not even a fan of fishy... hope you enjoyed yours though.
