On a cold morning, and with not much planned, staying warm in bed seemed the most sensible plan for the day.
Then I got a call from Call of the Small* artist Jo Searle, saying she was up the road at the Canberra Potters' Society and could she pop in to talk about her work for the exhibition?
"Sure" I said. "But give me five minutes to get dressed..."
Jo bought examples of the smallest pieces she's done (ceramic thistle heads from Craft ACT's 2006 Memories in place exhibition):
Which Wendy decided looked like giant popcorn, and could be quite fun.
She was more impressed with some work Jo had done on laminate samples, and started waxing eloquently about one of the pieces... We sent Jo home with a copy of The Secrets of the Dolls' House Makers for inspiration and look forward to seeing what she comes up with...
(*Thanks to the real Call of the Small for use of her name)
