A week of giveaways day six: Tuesday blues

OK, I get the message: you want aprons not Erasure.

Your wish is my command:
Man this is cute!
I'd keep it but it so doesn't go with the rest of the collection...
You know the drill. I await your comments. CLOSED

(And while I wait I'll be down at Canberra Museum and Gallery helping demount my exhibition... *sniff*)

I can imagine making upside down pineapple cake or curried sausages in this apron.

Not fair, leaving comments like that before I've had my breakfast...

the wonderful thing about vintage aprons is the girth! What is it they say? Never trust a skinny cook! Having said that I think this one is worth framing - that is the most adorable illustration I've seen on a pinny. Yes please! I'd love to enter your giveaway! (although I'm not in America so not sure I'm allowed!) t.x

Kitschen Pink: Huh? Did I miss something? (*checks to see if someone wrote new giveaway rules while I was asleep stating only people in the USA can win giveaways..*)

I can imagine myself becoming the domestic goddess which I am not, wearing this apron :)

awww, "insert comment here"

and if i win it, and get given enough bottle of red wine, i will post a photo of me wearing it.

This is a savoury apron, I'd have to cook stews and omlettes wearing this.

Ooooooohh if I were to win this I'll use it often as I cook penne alla arribata AND share the recipe - if I don't - well I will send the recipe anyway :-)

Inspired by the design, I would make lapsang souchong tea scented seared scallops with a seasonal salad.
P.S. - yes, i have discovered Liam Finn. I've seen him in concert twice. I do like to support the Finn lads.

Geez - if I get the apron I will take a photo of the Old Flame in it too... And, I ain't no skinny cook...

Now Old Flame, you were only saying yesterday that what you needed was an apron to protect yourself during sausage sizzles. If he wins it, I will administer red wine AND take photo.

Jeeze! I could have the world's first Blogathon (like a Telethon, which is so old-school).

I could raise money for the gainfully underemployed (err, that's me) by collecting pledges: those who do want to see a photo of The Old Flame in the apron versus those who don't. Then, if the "Do"s win, I could auction off the photos. Or accept brides to bury the evidence. WEG

Finally, If I were a bloke I wouldn't be too keen to wear an apron with a picture of a carving knife printed front centre...!

That is a nice apron, don't think it suits blokes, but would be good for a laugh.
Hope the pack up went well.

Brides to bury the evidence? Fantastic mental image.

ROFL. Opps...

Brides to bury the evidence?

Is this some secret women's business that happens on Hens nights??

I stil think it is a curried sausage, devils on horseback, upside down pineapple - fresh not tinned - cake apron. All that other stuff is way way too fancy
