to visit the Iconic Australian Houses travelling exhibition. I have the book, so was keen to see the accompanying exhibition. Especially as I'd heard that there were models included...Rose Seidler House was there, of course, in pride of place right at the entrance. It was like visiting an old friend.
The Butterfly House was there too,
which reminded me to find out how Div is getting on with her miniature version...There was also a series of video interviews* about the houses playing on the wall: we watched the ones about The Butterfly House, Robyn Boyd's Walsh Street House, and Enrico Taglietti's Dingle House, which is located here in Canberra (yay!) before we ran out of time and had to leave.
We quickly checked out the shop on the way out, and I was very tempted to pick up one (or two!) of these, but I was strong and left empty handed.
