Taph gave me this lovely apron last night to add to my black and white apron collection.But every time I use it I will feel sad. Why? Because she bought it at Curtin Vinnies. Which closed it's doors yesterday after 40 years.
That's two Vinnies gone in Canberra in less than 6 months. Sigh...
On a more cheerful note I also received this package of goodies yesterday from Nancy, Queen of Everything who has recently returned from a trip to Paris and (another) cruise adventure in Europe. I have a scarf, earrings and lots and lots of postcards from places I won't be going to until at least 2009.
Uh oh. I think that makes me sad as well....
