The post where I get out of bed in order to make a scene of my bed so I can tell the world I'm not getting out of bed...*

I haven't had a doona day for far too long and two weekends before Christmas, on an overcast day, where I have a few excellent new acquisitions waiting to be read, seemed like the perfect time to rectify the situation.
One-twelfth scale modern miniature bedroom in black, white, beige and wood. On the bed is a cat, a bar of chocolate and a pile of magazines.
But then I remembered the Daily Dolls House December challenge, thought momentarily about using the post I have tucked away in draft format for emergency situations and decided this was not the time to use it.
So I told myself to stop being such a lazy git, wiggled out from under Mr Nibbs after moving my piles of reading, and got out of bed to recreate my room for the second time on this blog:
(*Yes, my brain hurts, too...)

I agree with Brae, the big button is a great piece of modern art for this scene. It also is the only clue that a very little Shopping Sherpa lives in this beautiful bedroom!

Ah, but if you look at the last photo you will see that a quite normal-sized Shopping Sherpa has an even larger button next to her real bed :-D

Haha!! Love this :). Is it a permanent display? It looks like a good theme for a club project, creating a room in your own home in miniature with a photo of the real room to show. I'm doing my own bedroom at the moment, I even found an almost exact replica of my antique dressing table. Hilda Grace and James George can't wait to move in ;)

Thanks for the weekend smile!

Hi Susan: No, none of my scenes are permanent, although some end up being semi-permanent as I sometimes don't put away the components immediately after I've photographed the scene.

And yes, brilliant theme for a club project :-D
