The announcement said 12 - 1:30pm.
I arrived just before 12:30pm. The gazebo was deserted. I wondered if there was a second gazebo I didn't know about.
I ate my lunch. I knitted. And sulked (not really!)Then I went home.

Bollocks, indeed - how very disappointing. Sorry you were there on your own.
I'm sorry - there were at least two or three other people who had given me the impression would attend :/
awww! that bites! at least you showed your knittin' pride!! and had a nice, quiet spot with a view to knit!
STINK! I would totally have knitted in public with you, AM.
x Helen
Oh yes! There was one! I got there a bit early and waited until about 12:20 then pissed off.
It was just far too cold to hang around on the off chance that more knitters would show.

that happened to me once. i even decorated the gazebo with balloons before no one arrived. I'm sorry I couldn't make it.
No knitters, but a swell tiffin box!
At least you looked adorable, and had a super tasty looking lunch.
Kristin: I noticed as I scuttled through Myer the other day that the tiffins are down to $15. Had I not been in the middle of my Fiscal Fast I would have snapped up a few and tucked them away for christmas presents - visions were already flitting through my mind on what goodies I could pack inside for various people. Oh well :-/
Rhiannon: I think that's the first time I've ever been called adorable. Thanks! :-)
LMAO... i'm sorry for laughing but that's just a hysterical post. Very very funny girl *giggle* I was, unfortunately, stuck in a lecture room and/or doing other course-related stuff. Boo hiss. I would have loved to have been there. I even popped my head into Starbucks during our quick lunch break just in case there was any one there early. Ah well. Next time. :D:D:D
